Bunkers Barn Wedding Venue

These terms and conditions govern any booking you make with us and govern any liability we have in relation to your booking. In addition to these Terms and Conditions any Supplier that you may use for additional services ie Caterers will have their own Terms and Conditions which should be read and understood before entering into a booking or contract with Bunkers Barn

  1. When the deposit payment for the hire of the barn is accepted by us and we receive your signed booking form your reservation is created, you will receive a Confirmation Document and a binding contract will in place between you the customer and Bunkers Barn
  2. In accordance with the payment schedule as detailed in your Confirmation Document you agree that all monies will be paid on or before the scheduled date. If these are not paid within 7 days on the scheduled date, we may by notifying you in writing, deem this to be a cancellation by you.
  3. You recognize that your personal details have been given to us for the purposes of your booking and you consent to us using these details for any future correspondence regarding your booking. If you should change any of these details, please advise us immediately.
  4. If at any time you want to change the reservation date, the agreement to do this will remain at our discretion. New signed Terms and Conditions and Booking Forms will be required, and the payment schedule may be updated. It would be your responsibility to notify any of your suppliers.
  5. If you wish to cancel your booking, you should notify us immediately. If you cancel less than 6 months before the booked date 50% of the total Venue Hire as detailed in your Booking Confirmation document will be payable within 30 days of your cancellation date
  6. In the unlikely event that it is necessary for us to cancel your booking all monies paid will refunded in full
  7. You are responsible for inspecting the Venue and its facilities and assess its suitability for you, your guests, and suppliers. We will endeavor to notify you of any changes that may be made.
  8. We undertake to make the Venue, including fixtures, fittings, and furniture clean, tidy and good condition for your hire.
  9. We have the right to enter the Venue during your period of hire at any time, causing the least disturbance possible.
  10. We are not responsible for any performances or services provided by your suppliers.
  11. It is your responsibility to ensure that your suppliers have their own Liability Insurance
  12. We will not under any circumstances accept responsibility or liability in respect of damage to or loss of any goods, articles or personal property, or property of any kind bought into or left at the Venue either by you or your guests, suppliers or by any other person or deposited with any of our employees.
  13. You are responsible for, your guests and your supplier’s behavior. If we believe that any person’s behavior is unacceptable, dangerous or unlawful, we will at our discretion take the necessary action to prevent the behavior from continuing, including taking necessary action to eject them from the Venue.

  14. 16 and 17 year olds may consume beer, wine or cider at the table during the meal, if they are accompanied and seated with a consenting adult. Children younger than 16 will not be served alcohol. No alcohol will be served to anyone under the age of 18 and should not be purchased on their behalf by anyone at the bar.

  15. Staff at the venue have the right to refuse serving alcohol to anyone who appears intoxicated or underage and reserve the right to ask any guest who is drunk or disorderly to leave the premises.

  16. All drinks are to be provided by Bunkers Barn, no alcohol is to be brought onto the premises

  17. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of illegal drugs. Any person found to be in possession of any illegal substance will be removed from the premises immediately.

  18. Access to the Venue will be made available from 9am two days prior to the event until 2pm the day afterwards. The cottage may be accessed from 9 am on the day of hire and must be vacated by 10.30am the day afterwards.

  19. No naked flames or candles are to be used within the Barn.

  20. No confetti or confetti canons are to be used within the Barn, dried flower petals may be used in the gardens.

  21. You will state at the time of booking how many guests will attend, this should not exceed 120 in the day and 200 in the evening. Numbers to be confirmed to ourselves 21 days prior to the Celebration.

  22. All rubbish should be removed from site including that from any supplier

  23. The Bar/Wedding Venue is part of a working farm. Access to the venue and cottage should only be made via the garden. All guests and suppliers should remain within the venue boundaries. Respect for the surroundings and of the adjoining properties to be shown at all times.

AG Bunkers and Sons or Bunkers Barn cannot accept liability or pay compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by circumstances amounting to ‘Force Majeure’ Such events may include but are not limited to fire, flooding, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear activity and all similar events out of our control.
